YING QIAN

YING, Chinese name 钱樱, also named Flora, from Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China, 24 years old.

An enthusiastic video producer and independent photographer who graduated from M.A. Film Studies, University of Southampton in December, 2019. In the past 6 years, besides being a professional film director and a filmmaker, she has also worked as a high talented theatre actress, an experienced singer, a hard-working journalist, a well-organized social media manager.

She likes history, geography, antiques, crystals, jazz, classical music, traveling, cycling, hiking, camping, talking to people, watching films, learning short videos, reading online articles and collecting physical books.

She is good at cooking, analyzing films, dancing, playing the piano, playing Chinese traditional instrument such as 'Hulusi' and 'Guzheng', she is now leaning the guitar by herself. 

Also, she is currently researching Renaissance culture such as Botticelli and Leonardo Da Vinci, she enjoys Monet and M.C. Escher's work as well.

She believes with her passion of telling stories through various methods such as writing scripts, filming and acting, she will be able to encourage and engage people from different stages and different places more, which could be the inspiration and encouragement for her works, also for realizing her own value of this world.
